Thanks guys. In the end, I opted for the Elantra - because well, it's the most popular car here these days, which has its advantages. And the Corolla was a) too expensive and b) a little too plain.

Hope it turns out to be a good decision in the end. Thanks again for your feedback!

I wonder, why don't put Lancer within the circle of your choice . It is a japanese car and less cost than Corolla.
Good Luck

The Cilantro on Misaha Square in Dokki is quite easy for me.  If I know where you live though -- I don't have a car here -- but maybe we can see about someplace that is convenient for us both?

Don't get the idea that I'm any sort of chess master though.  Just enjoy the sociability of a nice game.

OK for Cilantro- Misaha Square . we can make it on Friday or Saturday if you don't mind . I will send you my Mobile Number through Private message to confirm the date and time.

Me too , just want to enjoy with a nice game .

for me,, Sunday or Saturday will be fine.... what about you all?

I have an idea for those who love to talk in English and need to practice it.  why we don't  organize a  weekly meeting to talk to each other in English . I know that there are a lot of Egyptian & foreigners want to do it . We can divide ourselves into groups or levels (Beginners, intermediate & advanced). It will be not allowed to talk in Arabic or any other language(except English) during the meeting as the main purpose is practicing the English language . It will better to chose a quiet cafeteria for our meeting to facilitate the communication between us . I  think that it is a good chance for all of us to express ourselves and our thoughts in English . also , good chance to build friendship between us & know each other better. Waiting for your comments .

Dear, everything comes in its time. I visited many countries before, such as Turkey, China, Dubai ...etc . I am planning to visit some European countries in the next year ISA. All I meant here is that the planning for your trip and collection of information through internet before travelling is a very important thing to spend a good time during your trip. And always the Web sites give you very useful information for cities that want to visit, maybe more useful than advices you receive it from other people.
But it is clear that My advice was not useful to you .any way , every one is free to choose his way and style in organization  his life. Good luck

Being an ex  sel defence instructor for 10 years, which I can't teach anymore due to an injury  I'm always aware of my surroundings and my personal belongings. Yes there's been a rise on attacks here but I'm sure this happens in  most countries who go thru an uprising . Attacks and sexual harassment can happen anywhere at anytime to anyone in any country  , male or female . This is the world we live in .Attacks on men are on the increase not just on women . It's a matter of being aware of not getting complacent and thinking I'm walking in a safe place , because really it's a shame to say but attacks can happen anywhere .eg Rehab !! So stay alert and keep your belongings that you don't need at home . And if you find yourself in a bad situation use your voice ., scream, shout .if being groped . maybe carry an alarm or spray use a small waist bag instead of a handbag under a jacket . Maybe look at self defence classes.,as it isnt always the answer but makes you more alert to situations . Personally I haven't had any really bad situations here ., but I've been out of Egypt for month and due to return shortly , so I'm wondering if it's deteriorated even more . But anyway I just wanted to share so take care EVERYONE

agreed with you  100%
