Two Australians embracing a life of voluntary simplicity; a barefoot existence, surf, sun and sand, beneath the coconuts in a remote Indonesian village. Founding members of a small expat community populated predominately by middle aged Australian male surfers. We are the outlying youngsters. Fruit loving vegans with a commitment to maintaining vibrant health, we love the tropical outdoor life, eschew stress and practice mindfulness. We are deliberately childfree, and value the freedom it affords. Professionally, I am a photographer, wordsmith and creative dabbler, and my husband is an architect, artist and aquaman. We built our own home and lived for many years without running water or electricity. Life is now very comfortable, and our beach shack a haven for living an authentic life. I hope you enjoy the words and pictures shared on my blog and invite any questions or comments.
