I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am British, and I would like to live in Germany. I am currently in Stoke on trent.

About me

Me & My Girlfriend ( who is From Hamburg) are planning to move back to Hamburg.
From Leek near Stoke on Trent (Staffordshire), a very small town.
I have lived in this area most of my life so far,
and for the most part worked with antiques & manfacturing of reproduction furniture in a small family based company.
That company folded in 2004 & I was forced to seek full time work for Kerrygold till 2006. I left to work for Sainburys supply chain run By DHL, and that's where I currently work.
Alexandra is my German/USA partner. She moved over here 2005.
But she is now hopefully about to get a job back in Hamburg.
Sorry to say my German is not good, I only know bits.
I have also been working on improving my skills base, maths / English & IT, but that's still ongoing.
Ho we have three cats aged 10 years.
I am looking forward to moving to Hamburg, it has to be one of the world's nicest cities.
We have Friends & Most of Alexandra Family live there.
