I lived in Morocco from November 2009 to February 2010
My life & projects in this location:
I will be moving to Morocco on November 25th, 2009; my first and most important project there is being with my boyfriend (Moroccan) and in the meantime study hard for a BAR exam in March, 2010. I would like to make the most of my stay and learn arabic and french.
My occupation:
I am currently a Contractor Special Investigator. I am on a hiatus since I took a leave of absense to dedicate the follwing month to study for a BAR exam.
What I liked about this destination:
I absolutely loved Morocco when I first visited in November, 2008; I loved that it was a completely different place and customs from what I as a Puerto Rican was used to.
What I didn't like about this destination:
Not that I dislike anything, although I know there will be many things that I won't like but that is the beauty of the whole process, learning and tolerate differences.
