I am currently living in Bahrain since October 2008

My life & projects in this location:

As an expat woman, not an expat mum, I work with a construction consultant in Bahrain with a project in the middle of the island, which I have to travel around 35 km from my apartment.

My occupation:

Currently, I am the Project Architect for a project in Al Areen, a location in the middle of Bahrain's main island.

What I like about this destination:

What I like living in Bahrain is the quality of life I could spend compare to if I live in Jakarta with all the hustle bustle of big city life.

What I don't like about this destination:

A bit detached, from the real civilization, but hey, there is no place called a perfect place%u2026

I lived in Qatar from August 2005 to October 2008

My life & projects in this location:

Was head hunted from Indonesia, to work as a project architect in one of Qatar's prestigeous project: the education city

My occupation:

I was a design architect when I was in Indonesia, in Qatar I am a project architect, means I have to look after a designed project, instead of desinging a project

What I liked about this destination:

I was looking after the experience and the adventure, thus what I liked from this is what I gained, new exposure as well as new friends from all over the world.

What I didn't like about this destination:

I missed my family, friends and pets, but... could find a new one in the new place

I lived in Indonesia from January 2001 to August 2005

My life & projects in this location:

I am a career architect... or what ever the term is, working with a local consultant in Jakarta

My occupation:

Architect.

What I liked about this destination:

Very busy and very fast lifestyle

What I didn't like about this destination:

I tend to forget that I also need social life abit and some lovelife... with my hectic life, I forgot how to balance this life....
