I am American, and I would like to live in the British virgin islands. I am currently in Long Beach.

About me

Hello! 

I am a painter from Southern California, where I've lived since birth.  A beautiful, interesting place with great weather and people is what most people would say.  But living near an ocean that I can't swim in, and often getting so caught up in "city life" that I don't even see the beauty around me anymore, has led me to travel to many places overseas - most recently the Caribbean. 

I've known for a long time that I was tired of "here", but haven't quite been able to take the plunge.  After visiting the BVI, I realized that had found that "special place".  So, after having dreamed about expatriating for about 10 years, I'm finally getting ready to make my move to that majestic little island in paradise. 

Naturally, I'm filled with a huge sense of excitement and anticipation, but also a bit of panic.  What am I doing?  Am I crazy?  Will I survive?  Will I be able to find my art supplies?  What about my large dog?  Will I lose those special people? 

These are just some of the crazy things going though my mind right about now.  But...I also believe that we create our own realities and I don't want to just dream about living my dream.

I admire those who dare to live a life less ordinary and commend their courage - I hope to do you proud. 

My birthday is on 2 May, I was born in 1965
