I lived in Sweden from March 2009 to August 2009
What I liked about this destination:
(1) It's easy to be green here. Recycling is very common, and available most places. (2) Vegetarian cuisine is available nearly everywhere. (3)Nature bike/pedestrian paths throughout the area (some are paved). (4) When biking/walking isn't feasible, the public transit is GREAT! (5) A majority of the population speaks English as a second language.
What I didn't like about this destination:
Swedish people are very blunt and to the point. They do not view it as rude to interrupt when you are speaking. If someone bumps you, or steps on your foot, do not expect an apology. The older people are not fond of foreigners.
