About me

Hello, my name is Trish.  I'm Canadian, and my husband is Australian.  We are in our early 30's and 40's.We are looking to move from Perth Australia to Penang or Langkawi within the next few months.  We will come with our Beagle; Ramsay.  I am trying to find out where is a good place for us to live- somewhere hopefully accepting of dogs, walking distance to bars and restaurants, and in a complex where other foreigners live.  We will pay up to 4000 MR per month.  Hoping the quality of life for foreigners is good there.  We lived in Shekou China for 4 years and had a great time there, hoping for a similar experience in Malaysia.  If anyone has some suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!
