I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am American, and I would like to live in England. I am currently in Kansas City.

About me

I live in the Kansas City area with my husband and two sons, ages 8 and 11.  My husband and I have been offered jobs in London, and we have accepted them.  We will be moving within 3-5 months.  We hope to find a place to live that is an easy commute to and from work, and where our kids will be able to go to a decent school.  We will be working in Hackney, but probably don't want to live there.

My birthday is on 9 October
