I am Swiss, and I am now living in New Caledonia. I am currently in Noumea.

About me

my name is Patricia I'm married with 3 children aged 24,20 (soon 21) and 17 (next week!!) One boy and 2 girls. I have been in Noumea for almost 4 months and it is our second expatriation here. First time was 97-02...Coming here this time was difficult as our eldest are not with us as they study in Switzerland (Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne and Medicine) ...I miss Europe much more this time than I ever did before...Noumea is boring although NC is a beautiful Island...locals are not friendly at all and it is hard to make friends among them...and the mentality they have is difficult to understand...I like the Climate and the ocean a lot. However, the country I have always wanted to settle in is Australia. I LOVE this country and the people...my dream is to buy a flat in Sydney or on the Sunshine Coast and live there part of the year and the rest of my time be close to my children wherever they will be...I hope I will also be able to have a plce of my own in Switerland between Geneva and Lausanne, as My elder daughter might work as a doctor there once she has finished her studies...I am in my early fiftees and do not look nor feel my age...I feel young. I am friendly and I love to have friends around me, that is why I feel a bit lonely at the moment. Didier is my husband a work alcoholic!!! always busy, not much time for us...
