I'm an American woman who fell in love with Rio de Janeiro when I visited for the first time in 2009 with my husband, a Carioca, who I met, fell in love with and married in my hometown of Cleveland, OH. Now, we share homes in both cities and have a family with a toddler--my husband's 3 1/2 year old daughter, and our two Pomeranians.
