Introduction
I am from Holland. I have also lived in France and Italy for several years. I'm currently living in Israel in the Galilee area. I love Italian opera and classical music but am also interested in all kinds of other music. Other passions: reading and holidays in Italy. I would like to meet some new acquaintances here in Israel for a chat and perhaps a coffee.

Expat experience
My husband, our new house, our garden, our cats and dogs, learning to speak Hebrew fluently.
The countryside, the views over lake Galilee, the food.
The deplorable situation of the many, many stray cats and the litter lying around at every beautiful spot of nature, which ruins everything.
We had a family home in the countryside.
The beautiful countryside, the food, our house, our English circle of friends.
Since 1996 I have lived several longer periods of time in Italy. I have studied Italian language and culture in Perugia and I did a Master's degree in human rights and democratization at the University of Padova and lived for half a year in Venice.
I fell in love with Italy and will never fall out of love again.
The medieval bureaucracy.

Dutch people are usually open and social.
