Hi folks
I was born in Canada when my parents moved there in the sixties and moved back to the UK when I was very young. Both my parents are English and it has been my ambition to move to Canada for some time now however I don’t have any contacts out there, hence this entry.

Canada
Sidney by the Sea
I would like to live in Canada from October 2005 (until January 2006)
My life & projects in this location:
I did move to Canada with my fiancée in 2005 but returned to England in 2006. We lived on Vancouver Island in a place called Sidney by the Sea and we loved it there but could not find any decent paying employment. We did intend to go back to Sidney but our dear friend who allowed us to live with her passed away suddenly and we have not been back since. I have also been to Ontario to a place called Waterloo which is where I was born.
My occupation:
I did find some work but nothing worth mentioning!
What I like about this destination:
The scenery and the people plus is was clean with not much crime unlike where I am now in England.
What I don't like about this destination:
Not much work

I am currently living in England since October 1965
My life & projects in this location:
I have lived in various parts of the UK but most of it has been in the North East. I enjoy socialising which is a major past time here! I have also travelled extensively around Europe and spent some time living on a Kibbutz in Israel.
My occupation:
I am presently on a career break from Northumbria Police where I was a full-time police officer and when in this post I specialised in Youth Issues. I am presently looking at various self-employment options as this is my ambition. I am a very positive and ambitious person who is looking at some projects at this time however I would dearly love to move to Canada and start a business there.
What I like about this destination:
Nothing really except the pubs (lol)
What I don't like about this destination:
Its okay in Sunderland but I am tired of living here as there is not much here with regard to work or anything else to be honest. The North East of England can be a depressing place and often gets bad press due to the economic climate and high unemployment.
