Jim Originally from the Chicago area Education has been my career--a college professor, an elementary and high school administrator, and a middle school and a high school teacher. I love learning even more than I enjoy teaching, and I have always been curious about everything. My teaching career included World History, U.S. History, World Geography, Government, and Economics. I have traveled and studied throughout India and the Far East, so spending these latter years of my life in further exploration and travel of new lands and cultures is a natural for me. I have two wonderful sons from a former marriage, and these two young men have truly been my pride and joy. Marc is 27 and with the U. S. Air Force. He is stationed in the Washington, D.C. area. Chris is 25 and with the army infantry--Stryker Unit. Chris married in Hawaii in May of 2010 to a wonderful girl named Maria. Chris then returned to Iraq for a second tour of duty, and is currently back in Hawaii. With my sons making their own lives and scattered throughout the world, it's time for their "old man" to spread his wings and fly again as well. Cuenca is now my home, and I couldn't be happier.
