They will have to apply democracy... They don't have the choice. THe problem is how they will apply it ? Maybe you should also look in the other direction, I mean, there are a lot of parties, I agree this one seems nice, but it's also the one with the most commnunication and most amount of money spent, they're everywhere, let's say they're good in marketing. Moreover they suffer during the moubarak's era, which is good for their image but if Im wrong the salafi also suffered during this era... But this is another issue. After make a choice, u have the time

I read quickly a part of the MB program, it looks fine especially in terms of development of the countries. But as a european, I don't like when religion is mix with politics, but we're not in Europe. they just write that they will review on the page 25 (FJP program) "beginning with a review of the CEDAW " (Cedaw) I know it's not really a text that many countries approved but it's weird to say they'll review it.

I think those websites could help you. Be sure there's not only two political party as said by LiLyyolyz, it's a little bit more open than it. But also less clear .... http://egypt.electionnaire.com/ http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/interactive/2011/11/20111121104852168402.html Good luck in ur choice. By the way, valibilic is not completely wrong on the nationality to impress but this is another issue not te be discussed here... :P

I agree for the isolation, [Moderated: please manage your language]. And also, usually the buildings are naked as a skeleton : so no windows, no doors only the brick. SO the people buy it less expensive like this so they can finish it by themselves and I think their budget do the rest and maybe the quality of the work. Concerning the building, there's a lack of law regulating the style of the buildings.

@ maireadhoey : Of course egyptians built the pyramids, but my question is : Who are those ignorant expatriates who dare saying that Egyptians could not build such thing ? I guess the answer is maybe where we (expatriates) are from : A "country" which is not a Civilization compared to Pharaohs who try to give lessons to the world.

not egyptian ! I think the reason is Egyptians like foreigners and want to discover new culture. And they love to learn a new language, compared to us in France, where we're lazy to learn a new one, im not talking about the english or american, I don't want to be offensive ;)

It's by stopping to pass by this place, the guys will think : it's our place, we don't want any people from outside here. Don't let them get used to be the only one in their place !!

mprier posted on the thread Dahab. Panic attacks and rugby on the Egypt forum

That's really sad, I knew some friends who's been caught by some local people, but finally their chief arrived and slapped the bad local guy and gave him a good lesson of hospitality, and free the foreigners and egyptians. Finally, they didn't have anything, fortunately. And I took this road twice and never had a problem, I guess it's about luck ...

Don't think it's something official for the Hotel. It's like an after work with your colleagues, you don't ask to book the place, you just go and see if they have the table for you, you don't give them a reason. It's the same there, maybe you can book a table to make sure that u'll have a place to sit, otherwise, just give a date and a place to the people, everything's gonna perfect.

The event costs nothing, it costs only the people who come. Everyone's free to order what they want. But at least Marriot doesn"t have a Min Charge, but has higher price compared to anywhere. But You pay the place, the service.
