I lived in Ireland from August 2007 to March 2009
My life & projects in this location:
I was doing my MA in Intercultural Studies at Dublin City University, learning a tidbit of Irish language and falling in love with an Irish man!
My occupation:
Student and writer/manager at the local Chinese newspaper.
What I liked about this destination:
What's not to like about Dublin? Amazing metropolitan city, Irish culture, Guinness and access to the whole of Europe!
What I didn't like about this destination:
Ex-PEN-sive. Living in Dublin is expensive.

I lived in this small town in Zhejiang Province, working as an English teacher and exploring the country on my own!

What I liked about this destination:
I love living in China and this was my first foray into the world of being a true expat. Absolutely wonderful.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I was on my own during this time, which sometimes made things a big lonely.
