I graduated as a master in physical education and movement science: specialization sport management after I completed my teaching certification as a bachelor in physical education and economics. I always loved working with children as an instructor during holiday camps and youth movement camps. Immediately after my studies I moved to Abu Dhabi and started to work there as a physical education teacher in an international school. I am confident this knowledge and experience gives me a good understanding and practical insight on how to plan and organize lessons for children of all ages and levels. To be in another country and work with different cultures, new school systems and international colleagues gives me the opportunity to further develop myself as a teacher and as a person. Thanks to my three and a half years of experience in Abu Dhabi, I made a lot of progress referring to my personal and interpersonal skills. My flexibility and innovative skills became better due to experience in and outside the classroom. I attach great importance to the organization and preparation of my classes because I want every student to learn (lower and higher level) by using differentiation in the exercises. Another major asset I developed during my work experience is my enthusiasm and dynamism in front of the class. After school I involve students in different activities. As the girls' basketball coach, we often play friendly matches with other schools. I am also preparing students to participate in triathlons and I am leading the after school swimming program with approximately 100 students per week. In these activities I learned a lot about organization and communication with parents.
