I grew up in Washington, DC and lived in Mexico (Tijuana, Mexico City, Xalapa, and San Cristobal) for many years before returning to DC to start a program on US-Mexico relations at the Wilson Center. I go to Mexico as often as I can -- for family, friends, work, and writing -- and teach courses on Mexico at Johns Hopkins University and GW. Currently I'm writing a book about how Mexico has changed and is changing life in the United States.
I joined expat.com on 27 November 2015.
