I came to Bombay in 1947, my Father had been asked to help set up a canning factory. I was sent 'home' to be educated to be another corporate wife. It succeeded, at the age of 19 I married a Scottish Tea Planter from Assam. Had my first son in Bombay and then lived for the next few years in Madras and Calcutta. Asked to leave by the Indian Government in 1967 when most of the corporations and industrial plants were nationalised. Lived in England,two more sons, then to Melbourne Australia, two daughters. Back to U.K.belated education in Psychology and Psychotherapy, worked in Education and health. Early retirement and for the last twelve years have spent as much time in India as the British and Indian Government allow.  It changes like the weather, so live for the day and let tomorrow look after its self.
