Hello! I moved from Bristol, England to Mauritius in November 2015 to live and work on the island. I have worked in commodity trading for nearly 45 years and I am embracing a new culture, island and occupation. I am living here with my partner, my children are both grown up; one works in the UK the other in Switzerland. My hobbies are varied and I have some new ones in Mauritius. I have learnt how to take better photographs and posted some on this website. Challenges are learning Creole and French, scuba diving, cooking the Mauritian way, understanding overtaking on the inside (!) and the local geography. Tamarin is my new home; I love it Peter
