I am a 29-year old American who travels to Ecuador often - my name is Megan and I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I will in fact be moving to Ecuador shortly (for three months or so) and will be in the business of helping people who are (or are considering) moving/retiring to Ecuador. I also hope to find an English teaching assignment with a private family, or a university - I will be TEFL certified shortly after I arrive. Anything to stay busy while I am in a foriegn country for three months!!! My fiance is Ecuatorian and knows and understands a little more about how things are done down here - he is a very skilled negotiator with locals, and is quite handy in a variety of situations. He is fluent in both Spanish and English, having lived in the United States for almost ten years.
