I am not yet an expatriate, but I am looking for information about life abroad.

I am British, and I would like to live in Portugal. I am currently in welwyn garden city herts.

About me

I am Maggie, Irish mother I also had an Irish husband who died December 2007 whom I miss greatly.

I love theatre,  I often go to the Southbank in London where there is always something going on.  I recently joined couchsurfing and my first experience of using it was in Cork last year, look up couchsurfing.com I guarantee you will meet some fascinating people. I am considering a place in Portugal, but need a little more time before making big decisions.

I am retired now I used to be a social worker for people with disabilities, rewarding but hard work.
I have two sons and four grandchildren and get lots of love. I went to the Uni of Hertfordshire for ART and Design as a mature student and had a wonderful time there.
