Restaurant Owner.

Remote, limited selection in everything, no cinema, there are restaurants but most serve the same Colombian fare, absolutely no real international nor ethnic food choices. Local attempts at pizza and burgers are just as of 2015 finally becoming available that are desireable at one or two restaurants..the others...burgers are pretty bad by my standards and Colombian pizza is an true abomination. I haven't been everywhere but to date Colombians make the worst pizza of any country I have visited so far in my life....You would think that they would use the internet to learn what pizza should be like but true to Colombian ways they insist doing pizza their way and their way is horrible usually..why? because Colombians always use the absolutely cheapest priced ingredient and always refuse to use a better quality product! Living in Colombia you will be served beans so many days you will want to die and it's said because Colombia has many fresh ingredients for some better food and I'm not saying expensive but the locals have no experience in baking, etc. Colombian food is very wanting very limited in normal daily life. There is a heavy dependence on salt and sugar and absolutely NO and I mean NO USE OF PEPPER. Life without pepper is boring and I mean depressing after awhile being a guy form Texas. If you want to put pepper on your food you will have to carry around your own pepper shaker as the restaurants and homes refuse to stock any form of pepper or spicy with on local exception called Aji Picante which is a very spicy pepper relish made from crushed Scotch Bonnet peppers and is delicious but not very one has it.
