Hi everyone, We're a family of four from Austria thinking about moving to Malta for good some time in the future, though at the moment certain circumstances have meant that we'll have to postpone this plan... I'm currently self employed as a translator and a freelance English teacher (adult classes) at several schools here in Austria. I did my CELTA teacher's training in Malta in 2013, which was my first visit to the island, and that's when I fell in love with "the rock". I've been in the teaching business since 2003. I spent summer 2016 teaching at a language school in the north of Malta, and I really enjoyed it - even though the pay was low, and since then I've returned to the island every summer to work as an EFL teacher for a month or two.
