Travel and entrepreneurial ventures are my passions. Favorite vacation spots usually include a beach or a ski hill.
I joined expat.com on 20 July 2015.
Obtaining a work permit to live on the island is difficult for reasons I fully respect. Although living on the island was not possible, I served as a digital marketing consultant for various businesses on the island and additionally created and promoted a professional sports celebrity golf tournament played at some of the islands most beautiful courses (Pro Players Tour), proplayerstour.com). I visited nearly monthly to gather the required information needed to return to the office and perform the work I was hired to do. Note, I, and anyone else visiting, should be very careful to not actually conduct business while on the island without written and specific permission from the government.
In my opinion, and in the opinion of many others, there is no more beautiful island in the world when you take into account, important details, such as safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and financial stability of the country.
It would be disingenuous to leave this field blank, as most would agree. Bermuda is very expensive. That said, learning to adapt to the lifestyle of a local brings everything back in line on just about any budget.
During a period nearly 2 years, I lived in Spain as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.
During my time in Spain, I made it a point to forget about home and embrace the culture. I fell in love with the country and it?s people. I?ve returned back on vacation many times and one day. Hope to have a vacation home to spend several months there annually.
Actually, I can?t think of anything I didn?t like! Maybe some of the strange food such as fish, brains, pig snout, pig hoofs, and pigtail?
