I've lived most of my life in Canada but in recent years have been spending my winters mostly in Thailand and most recently Panama. I do not intend to stay in Canada much longer, except for the possible occasional visits during the short summer months, and am actively considering various locations for which to eventually (semi) retire. Of course one cannot judge any country until one spends a considerable amount of time there before making any decision.
