My husband and I moved to Cuenca, on July 1st, 2010. We are enjoying being residents of this wonderful country, and look forward to traveling more of it in the future.

Kimblers Exit to Ecuador

From getting ready to move to Cuenca, and now the life we are finding in Cuenca.

I am currently living in Ecuador since January 1976 (until June 2010)

My life & projects in this location:

Grew up, worked, married, had kids, and enjoyed my life with people I knew for years

My occupation:

Clerk, Quality Control Inspector, Non Destructive Examination Technician,and Records Specialist.

What I like about this destination:

Hot summers, lots of rivers, easily accessible to Seattle, lots to do in the middle of wine country. Would not have left if I could have retired there.

What I don't like about this destination:

Cost of living.
