About me

I am a writer, a traveler, and a teacher who has been able to see the world by creating opportunities and taking advantage of them without hesitation. I have lived my life on the move, spending summers in the Philippines and studying in France, Spain, and Washington, D.C. After relocating to New York City as a Teach for America corps member, I pursued a career in education while using public school holidays to explore South
America, Canada and the Caribbean. I currently reside in Japan and maintain a web log to document my experiences and observations abroad.
