Expat experience

I would like to move there

Seoul/Pyongtaek/Songtan City, South Korea

Food! People! Shopping! Just a great place to sightsee and enjoy the life.

Nothing.

Colombo District, Western, Sri Lanka

US Embassy

Close to Maldives and a chance to shop, gamble and enjoy nightlife. Elephants walking the streets.

Traffic.

I would like to move there

Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand

Consider Bangkok to be a second home and have visited 12 times.

Everything rocks! Nightlife and Restaurants everywhere. Trains and Tuk Tuks. The temples...so much to do. Plus lots of American restaurants to include Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!

Traffic is ridiculous.

Saint George's, Saint George, Grenada

DOE for a resort.

Food! People! The friendliest people on earth live in Grenada. Beaches are nice. The island is hilly and beautiful.

Service is the biggest negative.

Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Atlanta is a GREAT city to live in. Sure they have traffic but everywhere you turn are great lively neighborhoods with very nice restaurants and nightlife. Diversity rocks there!

Traffic. Housing costs are really high.

St.Croix, USA

Relaxed island. Food is great. Very hilly in parts. Lots of history.

No negatives at all.

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Great Island for restaurants, Grace Bay, housing and nightlife. Just a great place to live and I was there for 3 1/2 years.

No negatives at all.

Canouan, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Maintenance Manager for the island construction company..

Sailing! Very nice people. Sailing.

Location is a challenge due to it being a developing island.

Fregate Island, Seychelles

Lived on island and was the Director of Engineering for the entire property.

The island is a habitat for large tortoises and is maintained like a national park. Quiet and very rainforest like.

The speed boat ride is 2 1/2 hours of probably the worst conditions one could ever ask for. It is a relentless ride of bumps and ocean spray. Private. No residents. Birds by the tens of thousands habitat on the marina side of the island which is very annoying.

Pensacola Florida, USA

Pensacola Beach Condo Manager

The most beautiful beaches ever! Downtown Pensacola is full of history, restaurants, nightlife, festivals. Could not ask for a better city to live in! Mardi Gras, Fiesta of Five Flags, baseball, hockey, fishing and on and on.
