I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I work in the entertainment industry- in wardrobe and costuming mainly. I spent 8 months working on a cruise ship in which most of my friends were Filipino. I tried to learn bits and pieces of the language with my friends and through phone apps etc. I did ok.. but still definitely not fluent in the language. I am about to go on my first holiday to the Philippines for 6 weeks and was thinking about doing a short course to help me get up to scratch and more confident in conversational Tagalog while I'm in Manila. If anyone could help me find a good course or teacher, I would be very grateful!
