I am a single 52 yr. old Black woman currently living in Los Angeles California. I am researching a retirement location and have narrowed it down to either Panama, more specifically the island of Bocas del Toro or somewhere on the coast of Ecuador. I have no interest in hiding away in an expat community as I prefer a more mixed environment. Where ever I land I want to learn and enjoy the culture of my host country. I want to live a healthier life with lots of walking, history, art and culinary adventures. For this half of my life, I want a new experience.
