About me

I left England 20+ years ago, happily resettled in the D.C area. I think I still got my accent. Mind you, when I go home, people I meet talk slowly and loudly--they think I'm a Yank! The nerve!  So I thicken up the Cockney--it's like Pygmalion in reserve!  So I'm writing a book about my travels back to Blighty with the American wife, renting cottages with my aging East End parents. Embarassments, laughs, revelations.
