My husband and I are most recently from Arizona, before that Colorado, where we met 44 years ago. I lost the use of my legs 16 years ago, but insist on keeping on. With the most recent economic collapse, we lost almost everything - our jobs, our house that we had completely renovated and most of our savings. Since Steve was of retirement age, we decided that, instead of staying and struggling, we would become expatriates. After some searching and a couple false starts, we finally launched our new life with no belongings, no bills, no mortgage - just us and the 2 dogs. It was incredibly frightening, but at the same time freeing. 1 1/2 years into our adventure, we have been through a whole spectrum of emotions but, for the most part there are no regrets.
