Egypt
Damietta
I am currently living in Egypt since June 2009
My life & projects in this location:
Obviously I don't live there yet, I'm moving June 24th. But I will be living in a village with about 2,000 people in the "district" of Damietta.
My occupation:
Wife
What I like about this destination:
Just about everything: The people especially, since my family will be there, the lifesyle, the culture, and the newness of it all.
What I don't like about this destination:
My only complaints are the moquitoes, which always have a go at me and eat me to pieces :(, and the harshness of some of the people in the village that holds back the success of those who want to try to live a good and successful life.

USA
Kentucky
I lived in the USA from August 2008 to May 2009
My life & projects in this location:
Attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky for one year.
My occupation:
Student.
What I liked about this destination:
I really loved the college, the education system of the college, the people that I met, and the small town. Getting a view into the world of Derby racing was pretty neat too.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I didn't like the mix of the North and the South. I would rather have just the North.

USA
Alabama
I lived in the USA from July 1999 to August 2008
My life & projects in this location:
I have lived in Bessemer, Alabama in two seperate locations, but since I haven't lived here my whole life, I don't feel like I fit in at all.
What I liked about this destination:
I like the hospitality and respect that is in the South, but that's about all that I like.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I really don't like the racism at all, or the southern accents, the redneck lifestyle, the car racing, the hunting, or probably anything else that you can associate with the South.

USA
Connecticut
I lived in the USA from December 1997 to July 1999
My life & projects in this location:
We lived in a small Jewish Neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut that was probably one of the coolest experiences in my life. Not being Jewish myself, I got to learn a lot of things about another religion and culture. The neighborhood was a blast, we had a lake behind our house that was hidden in the woods that we could go to at anytime, and I loved my school.
What I liked about this destination:
I loved everything about Connecticut.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I guess the only thing that I didn't like about this location is that it let me leave it. :(

New Hampshire
I lived in the USA from June 1994 to December 1997
My life & projects in this location:
I lived in several different places in New Hampshire, including Manchester and Derry.
What I liked about this destination:
I loved the weather, the mountains, the scenic drives, the small communities, the beautiful winter snowfalls, the wonderful spring time flowers, the portrait falls where all of the trees turned colors at the same time, the people that I lived near and went to school with, the dairy farms, the small town ice cream stands, and the apple orchards. Overall, New Hampshire was the most amazing place that I have lived in my lifetime.
What I didn't like about this destination:
Not a single thing that I didn't like about New Hampshire.

Florida
I lived in the USA from July 1991 to June 1994
My life & projects in this location:
I moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1991, and in 1993 I moved to Panama City, Florida, where my sister was born.
What I liked about this destination:
I loved being close to my grandparents, and the awesome neighbors that we had. I also loved being so close to the bay and the beach and being able to swim all of the time, though I don't like swimming or open water today.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I don't recall disliking anything in either place.

Texas
I lived in the USA from November 1989 to July 1991
My life & projects in this location:
I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember that the lifestyle of back then was a lot different than it is today. The city was also in better shape than it is now.
What I liked about this destination:
Like I said, I don't remember much about it. But I liked the friendly squirrel that inhabited my backyard, as well as all of the tadpoles.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I don't remember disliking anything about it. I'm sure that I was too young to care anyway.
