I'm at the point in my life where the kids are largely self-sufficient now (except for the youngest) and am starting to get itchy feet to leave my home province and profession for new experiences and people. The whole idea of getting out of here could be traced back to my beloved wife who regrets to have moving back to Canada (in retrospect). DR looks like a place where I could be warm, try something new and still use my training productively.
