Introduction

I am from Manchester, I have spent the most amazing three months living in Hammamet with my Tunisian partner of three years but now i have to return to England. I have decided that Tunisia is for me after coming here many times and i want to make it my home. I have no doubts that I will be made very welcome!

I joined expat.com on 18 June 2010.

I would like to move there

Hammamet, Tunisia

I have been here for three months with my Tunisian partner to assess if i could leave good old Blighty and my family for a life in Tunisia and the answer is a resounding 'YES',however i still have a few things on my mind.

I love the culture i think that is what attracted the place to me and people don't judge they take you for who you are not what you are.The close family unit.

Basic environmental stuff, like rubbish everywhere. The lack of social care if your poor there is nothing down for you.
