Born in Boston, MA educated, lived there for early years. Have lived on West Coast, Pacific Northwest other West states for 30 plus years. Professional who loves to travel, freelance --lived in South America for almost 8 years now in 3 countries.

Visited several years for months at a time, stayed with CHileans, traveled, worked PT. Total 2.5 years

friendships there , culture and history and travel options! Lovely country, now very $$$ to live or even to visit.

Did not like the local cuisine esp. My friends are great cooks, fortunately. THe capitalismo of the culture these days has hurt many Chileans who do not have great means and are now struggling to keep their houses and food on the table, etc.
