Born in Houston,Texas USA. and parents took family all over the world... . Lived in Guadalajara,Mexico from 1970-1984. I consider central Mexico my home and live there about half of each year. 1988- to the present.... I am an agricultural scientist/ maize -plant breeder. I was mentored in maize (corn) breeding 1977-1981 by Edwin J.Wellhausen, Rockefeller foundation and co-founder and first Director General of the CIMMYT. We met developing a curriculum for UAG escuela de Agropecuaria Empresarial (now in its 35th year)... At present I have maiz lines developed over a lifetime for central Mexico and am looking for a partner / volunteer to put in about 400 US dollars per/month and a few hours of non-labor to produce (on a relatively small scale) QPM - Quality Protein Maize in the finest hybrids ever for central Mexico and teach/train simple maize breeding and production to the local subsistence farmers & their families ( who need Quality Protein in their diet more than anyone )...
