Guinea Conakry

I lived in Guinea Conakry from August 2007 to January 2008
My life & projects in this location:
taught ESL in the mornings, and did photography in the afternoons and on weekends.
My occupation:
ESL teacher
What I liked about this destination:
everything! Africa is where my heart is... and Guineans are the most welcoming people around.
What I didn't like about this destination:
almost getting kidnapped/held hostage! ok, ok, and it could have done with a Starbucks :)

My life & projects in this location:
Was born just outside of Toronto, and lived there until leaving for film school.
What I didn't like about this destination:
I rather enjoy the fact that most people are fluent in English, but I MUCH prefer to live in developing nations, or simply anywhere overseas.
