The key focus of this position is responsibility for the financial accounting, reporting, tax and regulatory compliance for the Japan incorporated legal entities.



Key responsibilities include:

•Prepare and complete for review all financial statements and regulatory returns required for their delegated Japan entities.

•To undertake the consolidation of any relevant sub-group in accordance with applicable GAAP.

•Management Reporting for Regional Head Office and Group (i.e. month end, year end, forecast, budgets etc)

•Account for intercompany transfer pricing transactions and associated cash flows for the Japanese entities.

•Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis, and all outstanding items are cleared.

•Work with Asia Regional Treasury in managing and controlling all cash payments related to Japan, including intercompany settlements



The successful candidate will be a qualified or near-qualified CA/CPA with fluent Japanese language skills (written and verbal). Experience in the Financial Services will be highly regarded but is not essential.
