Cost Control

• Establish cost control methods with the Project Manager. Monitor the costs of the Project and maximize its profitability. With the assistance of the Project Manager reviews the costs and prepares reports for cost meetings.
• Prepare and agree valuations, value variations with Client's QS representative.
• Monitor and update contract turnover and cash flow forecasts as required with the assistance of Planning engineer and PM.
• Protect Company's contractual position in conjunction with the Project Manager in respect of necessary correspondence, information or notices.
• Prepare applications for extensions of time with input from Project Manager.
• Prepare applications for recovery of loss and expense.
• Provide feedback to the Estimating Department with regard to the costs incurred on the Contract related to the Tender and breakdown of the preliminaries.
• Liaise with the Lead Construction Manager, Manager, Engineers, & Foremen on a regular basis and be aware if any work on site which might have cost implications.
