We are seeking undergraduates for short term assignments that typically require 10 -20 hours support for up to one month in duration.
The role involves
• Conducting technical research into automotive technology involving both desk and field research
• Investigating specific customer technical requests
• Carrying out technical benchmarking
• Presenting analysis and research in databases, spreadsheets and written documents

Job details
Salary range	£8- £10 per hour
Skills	You should have facilities to work from home with a telephone and PC with internet access. You must be a confident communicator with the ability to speak fluent English and either Russian, Portuguese or German. You will be liaising by phone and email with overseas businesses to gather data so you must have strong knowledge of and an appreciation of the other country’s culture, way of life and geography. Previous experience of internet research gained through either your studies or work experience is essential. The ability to work on your own initiative is a must, as is a naturally enquiring mind. You will need to demonstrate that you can analyse information and data and present it in excel spreadsheets in a logical manner. You will take pride in your work and demonstrate a commitment to the highest quality standards for content and presentation. A background knowledge or interest in the automotive industry or emerging technology would be desirable although not essential. You must have the right to work in the UK. If successful you will be required to attend our offices in Cosgrove, near Milton Keynes for a two hour briefing. SBD works with vehicle manufacturers and first tier suppliers to help them develop automotive security, ITS and telematics systems that meet the specific requirements of different global markets.
