Volunteer opportunity

Integrated Human Development Center (IHDC) is currently looking for volunteers. IHDC, a department of Reach Out Development N.G.O, focuses on capacity building in Egypt. IHDC offers cultural exchange to foreigners as well as Egyptian natives.

Language Teachers

IHDC is looking for teachers whose native language is English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. All of the material is provided as well as a small stipend per lesson to cover transportation and other related expenses. We also offer free spoken Arabic lessons for any interested volunteer in our organization. Our courses run for 5 weeks, one day a week, 3 hours per day. The classes are from Sunday through Wednesday and either run from 3:00pm-6:00pm or 6:30pm-9:30pm. Most of our students are between the ages of 18-40, with a 60/40 gender ratio (60 being male). This semester begins Sunday, Feb. 6.and ends Wednesday, March 9. Following this semester is a one week break, followed by the start of another 5 week semester.
