Places To Drink In Glasgow


Ashton Lane

Ashton Lane is located in the West End of Glasgow. It’s a cobbled backstreet connected to Byers Road. An entrance is found next to the Hillhead underground station and is noted for its bars, restaurants and licensed cinema.

Merchant City

The Merchant City, also known as the “tron” or “cross” is just minutes away from the centre of Glasgow’s main shopping area, Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and the famous George Square and is only a 5 minute walk from Queen Street train station. Merchant Square is home to various bars, cafes and restaurants with Victorian architecture and cobbled streets surrounding the area.

Sauchiehall Street

Sauchiehall Street is pedestrian friendly,  located just a couple of minutes walk away from Buchanan bus station. It is famous for its shopping, being connected to Buchanan Street but also boasts a thriving nightlife having various types of bars and nightclubs to suit any mood.
