Customs in the UK

If you are a citizen from an EEA-EU country, products listed below are allowed in the UK up to the prescribed quantities:

• 3200 cigarettes;
• 200 cigars;
• 3kg of tobacco;
• 10 l of spirits alcohol;
• 20 l of Porto wine or equivalent;
• 90 l of wine;
• 110 l of beer. 

Are strictly forbidden: drugs and firearms.

Important:

specific legislations apply to citizens from Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Slovakia or Slovenia regarding tobacco importation in the UK: a limit of 200 cigarettes only is allowed. Citizens from Estonia can bring 200 cigarettes in the UK OR 250 g of raw tobacco.

If you are not a citizen from an EEA-EU country:

• 200 cigarettes, 100 cigarillos, 50 cigars, ou 250g of raw tobacco;
• 2 l of wine;
• 1 l of spirits or liquor up tp 22^o, 1 l of sparkling wine or champain ;
• 60 ml of perfume;
• 250 ml of eau de toilette ;
• Gifts and personal effects up to 145 pounds in value.
