Ulsan is a fast-growing city in South Korea with a population of around 1.2 million. Hyundai Heavy Industries employs over 25,000 at its location in Ulsan. The company also has more than 72 distributors in over 20 countries worldwide.

Living in Ulsan

The city of Ulsan is known for its mountainous scenery and rivers, not to mention its beautiful beaches, Jinha, Jeongja, and Jujeon. The city also boasts national parks, museums, the Center for Arts and Culture Ulsan, as well as countless department stores and shopping centres. Therefore, Ulsan is a major tourist destination, which has led to a variety of luxury hotels and resorts in the area. Taehwagang River Grand Park in Ulsan's downtown area is amongst its most popular tourist destinations as it boasts a large bamboo forest with a variety of different plant species. Just south of Ulsan, Ganjeolgot is a popular coastal park. The park is the easternmost part of the Korean Peninsula making it the first location for the sun to rise in the country. The location is a popular destination for the New Year's Day.
