To study in Mauritius, you need first to enrol in a higher education institution or at the University of Mauritius. Check your eligibility before applying. Procedures for permits and visas are directly initiated by schools. For an internship in Mauritius, please contact the embassy or consulate of Mauritius of your area.
The University of Mauritius, of an « Anglo-Saxon » model, has five main Faculties (Humanities - Science - Engineering - Agriculture - Law and Administration). Auditors, external students or non-degee students are allowed to attend a lecture without actually taking the course. Other vocational trainings are available through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mauritius. A technical institute, based in Rose Hill also offers vocational curriculum.
For more information, visit the University of Mauritius under «international sudents »
