After completing a Bachelor Degree of Communications at AUT in Auckland and finishing head of class in photojournalism I decided to take my camera on the road with me, and document my travels through Europe and Africa. A lot of people had told me they were jealous of what I am doing, which is a fair call as I am pretty damn lucky. But this is to let you know that life is not all free trips to Greece and partying in Paris (although sometimes it is). Here lies the laughable failures, the incredible tales and the tips I have learned from experiencing the beautiful and sometimes harsh reality of the world. These are the stories from behind the lens.

I moved to Paris to study pastry at Ferrandi after studying industrial design engineering. After spending a year in Paris I am currently living in the Basque country, in Biarritz. My blog is mostly about pastry, food and living in France.
