Looking for teacher training

I have been living in Mexico City for 5 months and I would really like to teach English at one of the private schools in Polanco, or teach at the American School. I am fluent in Spanish and a native English speaker. I grew up in the American International school system in Asia so I'm familiar with being a TCK. I worked with low-income youth in San Diego for the past 3 years, but never in a classroom setting. I graduated from UCSD with a B.A. in International Studies- Political Science, but what I'm looking for now are courses to make me a better, more effective teacher. When it comes to teaching English I know there are required courses, but I can't find out what they are! I want to be an effective teacher so while I could get by in the classroom I would prefer to learn some tools in order to best serve the students.
