Free English Pronunciation Class in Central London

Join us at Pronunciation Studio London on Wednesday 4th April at 11:00 for a free pronunciation class focusing on English pronunciation and particularly the schwa vowel sound.

What is a schwa?

It is the most common, most important and perhaps the most difficult vowel sound in spoken English. It is in each of the following words once:

sharpen, polite, April, about, column

It is in the the following sentence 5 times (all of the vowels except few):

"There are a few of them."

Thursday's free 90 minute class will focus on:
- the possible spellings of the schwa sound.
- how to accurately produce the schwa using jaw, lips and tongue.
- the weak/strong structure of spoken English.

It is suitable for any non-native speaker of English from upper-intermediate to proficient level of English. It will be taught by Pronunciation Studio London's expert teachers (BA/MA/IPA Certified).
